Here are some of the lyrics: There's a house upon the hill Hanging on the windowsill There's a little Christmas stocking with a hole in the toe And when Santa came to call at the house upon the hill He saw the Christmas stocking hanging in the candle's glow And he chuckled to himself As he walked across the floor At the little Christmas stocking with the hole in the toe (Then I have a blank) Then the verse (or chorus) "The note said, "Santa, I am just a little boy and something like And I'll have everything if you bring me yuletide joy When you fill my stocking, if it should overflow I don't mind if something pushes through the hole in the toe That's all I can remember, and I'm not sure about the order I know the tune perfectly I've never been able to find sheet music, or a recording, or anyone in a music store, etc.who every heard of this song Thanks, Cookie

If you still want the lyrics, contact me at KellyG629@aol.com and I'll dig it out and copy the lyrics down for you. I remember the song ends, "So he filled the stocking until no more he could fit Cause the note said, Please dear Santa Could you make the gifts for mom and daaaaaad." There's another song on this album that people seem to be looking for that's called "I've Got Eighteen Cents To Spend For Christmas." It's also got "Tinker Town Santa" and other off the wall songs. I have 2 copies of the album so I'm thinking that it was a giveaway promotion at a gas station or something. I'm a librarian and I've never been able to track down any other album that has any of these songs on it, so it must have been a one-of-a-kind. Isn't it funny how we can remember songs that we haven't heard for 30 years?
